Caden's Knife

This was really fun to draw! I enjoyed doing all the layers and shading. I'm really diggin' the addition of pen to help intensify shadows. This was about 3 hours worth of work.

The handle was carved from the antler of a white deer with the initials C. W. inscribed on the hilt. The blade was somewhat sharp, and she polished it as best she could. Her arm stretched around to the front of the tree and she placed the knife against one of its roots. She waited and snuggled into the dent in the massive tree, she did not leave as she had in the past. She wanted to witness his reaction.
