Cover designs

(I'm posting this one before Christmas because I'm sure people want to spend quality time with family. I know I do!)

I know some of you may think "wow these are really good" *cough* dad *cough*. Others will think they need more work. I can tell you I did my best with my knowledge of photoshop, but I agree. I'm not crazy about them, although I appreciate the amount of time I spent on them. Cover design is just not something I excel at but as a placeholder, I think these are pretty neat.

My favorite is The Crescent Mountains. I used Brii's eyes at the base, they were the most incredible colors! Shifting from green to gray to blue, depending on what she wore. I am currently commissioning a true design artist for the first book and she said that it was very helpful that I already had a solid idea (which made me feel better about my work.)

Needless to say, I originally felt like the Kombucha girl with the designs. Starting with an "ehh" and then ending with an "oh."
